The Kremlin revealed its position on ceasefire: Peskov explained Russia's unwillingness to stop the military operation in Ukraine

The official Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov gave a detailed comment regarding the possibility of a complete ceasefire in the conflict with Ukraine, explaining why Moscow rejects such a scenario.

According to the presidential press secretary, a truce implies the suspension of hostilities from both sides, however, Western powers — primarily the United States, Great Britain, and France — do not intend to stop military supplies to Kyiv.

"At the moment, Russia has a strategic advantage. What sense would it make for us to give it up? We are not going to lose this position. We are moving forward and will continue to move," Peskov emphasized.
