Macron surprised TikTok users: video from G7 summit featuring Russian hit "Capybara"

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Gazeta.ru, French President Emmanuel Macron published an unusual video from the "Group of Seven" (G7) summit on his TikTok page. The footage shows world leaders taking turns walking onto the stage for official photographs, with the popular Russian composition "Capybara" playing in the background.

The author of the track, which unexpectedly became an international hit, is Moscow musician Alexey Pluzhnikov, performing under the pseudonym "Sto-Lichniy Ona-Nas" (Hundred-Capital She-Us). The song, released in 2022, rapidly gained popularity on social networks and is often used for creating short videos. Without promotional support, the composition gathered more than 2 million views on YouTube, and on music platforms, "Capybara" was long included in the top-200 for listening in 28 countries worldwide.
