The largest container hub in the Caspian Sea basin has begun operations in Aktau

Container hub opened ahead of schedule in Kazakhstan. A large-scale project, initiated by the country's president in September 2023, is already receiving its first shipments.

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to "Kazakhstan Railways", several major players participated in the implementation of this strategically important facility: KTZ Express, a subsidiary of "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", one of China's largest ports - Lianyungang, as well as the Aktau International Commercial Sea Port.

The launch of the new logistics hub will significantly strengthen Kazakhstan's transit potential on key international routes East - West and North - South. The modern infrastructure of the hub, equipped with advanced technologies, will provide a substantial acceleration of container cargo processing.
