Tragedy in the sports world: legendary motorcycle racer Nikolai Krasnikov died in a car accident

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Russian media, the sports world has been shocked by tragic news.

The famous athlete was killed in a car accident on the R-240 highway. According to preliminary data, Nikolai Krasnikov was heading to Ufa from Nizhnekamsk when around three o'clock in the morning his car drove into the oncoming lane. There was a collision with a "Gazelle" and a "Sitrak" truck. The injuries sustained in the accident were incompatible with life.

Nikolai Krasnikov was an outstanding athlete who won eight world champion titles individually and twelve in team competitions, becoming one of the brightest stars in the history of motorcycle racing.
