In São Paulo, the legendary actor of Brazilian soap operas, Francisco Cuoco, has passed away.

The famous artist, who won the hearts of millions of viewers, died at the age of 91 on June 19. Shortly before his death, Cuoco was hospitalized. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
Brazil's Vice President Geraldo Alckmin expressed deep condolences, calling Cuoco one of the country's greatest artists.
"Acting in films, soap operas, and productions of famous plays, he embodied charismatic characters and helped spread our culture throughout the world. May his extensive legacy become an inspiration for new generations of Brazilian actors and actresses," Alckmin wrote on his social media page on X.
Francisco Cuoco's creative journey spanned more than six decades, during which he shined on theater stages, in cinema, and on television. Russian viewers especially remember the actor for his vibrant roles in popular series such as "The Clone," "The New Victim," and "Tropicanka."
