Zelensky: Russia is now more inclined towards a ceasefire

Russia demonstrates greater readiness for a ceasefire with Ukraine after talks with US special envoy

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted in his evening address a change in Russia's position regarding a possible ceasefire.

Zelensky reported on a conversation with US President Donald Trump after Special Envoy Steve Witkoff's visit to Moscow.

"We discussed what was said in Moscow. It seems Russia is now more inclined toward a ceasefire. The pressure on them is working. But the main thing is that they don't deceive either us or the United States in the details," Zelensky emphasized.

The President of Ukraine also stated that he proposed to partners to organize a meeting of security advisers in the near future to coordinate a common position and develop a unified view of the situation.
