Tragedy in Istanbul: British man dies after hair transplant procedure in Turkish clinic

Medical specialists were unable to save the life of a British citizen who sought hair transplant services at the CINIK clinic in Istanbul. According to The Daily Mail, the patient's condition deteriorated rapidly shortly after all necessary procedures were completed. Despite emergency hospitalization at the nearest medical facility, the man died.

Turkish authorities immediately initiated an investigation into the tragic incident. Investigators have already interrogated all medical staff involved in the procedure, including the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and support staff of the clinic.

According to the publication, Turkey is the undisputed leader in the field of hair transplantation, controlling nearly 60% of the global market for these services. More than a million foreign citizens visit the country annually seeking solutions for baldness.

However, specialists warn about the potential risks of such interventions. Trichologist Aigul Ibatullina notes that even minor surgical manipulations can cause serious individual reactions, especially in people with heightened immune sensitivity.
