Three Ukrainian intelligence officers to be executed in Iran

Three agents of Ukrainian intelligence who planned sabotage at a defense facility have been detained in Iran

Iran's security forces conducted a successful operation to detain three employees of the Ukrainian intelligence service, reports Tasnim News agency, citing representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to Iranian authorities, the detainees were planning to attack a strategically important facility — a factory producing unmanned aerial vehicles, located in the city of Isfahan. The Supreme Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran sentenced the arrested agents, who allegedly acted in cooperation with Israeli intelligence MOSSAD, to death by hanging. According to the agency, the execution of the sentence is expected within the next two weeks.
