Mass poisoning in the Turkish parliament: more than 100 deputies and staff members fell ill with symptoms of intoxication

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Turkish media, a real epidemic is unfolding in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT). More than a hundred parliamentarians and staff members have sought medical help with identical symptoms.

"I've been feeling nauseous since early morning. I didn't eat anything outside the parliament, I only ate at the Mejlis cafeteria," shared Sema Ipek Yun, a deputy from the "Yeniyol" party from the Denizli region.

It is noted that over the past 2 days, more than 100 deputies and parliament staff have visited the parliamentary hospital with complaints of diarrhea, vomiting, and severe weakness.

According to the information received, the first complaints began to arrive yesterday, and today their number continues to grow. Many duty staff of the parliamentary complex and some deputies were sent to the hospital with similar symptoms.
