Israel reported the number of Iranian commanders killed after strikes

Israel delivered a devastating blow to Iran's command staff, eliminating at least 20 high-ranking military leaders. Reuters reports this, citing informed sources.

According to the obtained information, among the dead is Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, who headed the air and aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Earlier, the Israeli military leadership reported to Defense Minister Israel Katz about the results of the operation, noting that during the strikes, most of the command staff of the Iranian air force was destroyed.

On June 13, Israeli forces attacked the IRGC headquarters in Tehran and strategic facilities of Iran's nuclear program. As a result of the operation, IRGC commander Hossein Salami was eliminated, as well as a group of nuclear scientists. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu officially confirmed that the target of the attack was Iran's nuclear infrastructure.
