Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Mikhail Drapatyi announced his resignation after the tragic missile strike on the Armed Forces of Ukraine training center.
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Rambler, the military commander published the corresponding statement on his Telegram channel.
"I have decided to submit a report of resignation from the position of Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a conscious step, dictated by my personal sense of responsibility for the tragedy," he wrote.
Earlier on Sunday, as a result of a missile strike on one of the training units of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 12 servicemen were killed, and more than 60 others received injuries of varying severity.
