Accused in the Crocus terrorist attack were under the influence of drugs

The perpetrators of the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" acted under the influence of drugs - the investigation found mephedrone in the blood of three attackers. This was reported by TASS, citing case materials.

Investigative authorities have established a shocking fact: three of the four terrorists who attacked the concert hall had consumed a narcotic substance containing mephedrone immediately before the attack. According to the investigation, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Muhammadsobir Fayzov, and Saidakrami Rachabalizoda took the drug to suppress their fear before committing the crime.

The case materials note that the accused themselves claimed to have received some liquid containing a narcotic substance shortly before the attack, after consuming which they allegedly began experiencing hallucinations.

Forensic examination confirmed the presence of mephedrone in the blood of three attackers. Notably, no traces of narcotic substances were found in the fourth participant of the terrorist attack - Shamsidin Fariduni. He was the only one among the terrorists who fully admitted his guilt and expressed remorse.

The conducted forensic psychiatric examination recognized all four accused as sane. Specialists concluded that at the time of committing the crime, they were not suffering from mental disorders and were fully aware of the nature and public danger of their actions.

Currently, the defendants are being held in a pre-trial detention center under enhanced supervision, as they are classified as individuals prone to committing crimes of a terrorist nature.
