The footage shows the noticeably thinner regional leader visiting a construction site in Grozny, where he personally monitors the progress of work. The republic's head was accompanied by his son Akhmat during the trip.

The publication appeared after reports spread on the internet about an alleged incident involving Kadyrov at one of the Turkish beaches. Earlier, in response to these rumors, the head of Chechnya posted a video of himself training on an exercise bike. In the caption to that video, Kadyrov noted that he needed a break from intense physical activity, but did not reveal specific reasons.
