Poroshenko"s wife filed a lawsuit against her husband

The wife of the former President of Ukraine, Marina Poroshenko, has initiated legal proceedings against her husband

As reported by TUT.AZ, the wife of the former head of the Ukrainian state and current leader of the "European Solidarity" faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Petro Poroshenko, has filed a lawsuit demanding the division of jointly acquired property.

"Marina Poroshenko applied to the court on March 27, 2025. The lawsuit concerns the division of the spouses' property. The case is under the jurisdiction of the Kryzhopol District Court of Vinnytsia Oblast, where the lawsuit was filed," reports the publication "Ukrainian News" with reference to court data. The court hearing on this case is scheduled for April 29.

It is worth noting that in February 2025, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposed sanctions against Petro Poroshenko. The restrictive measures prohibit the former president from carrying out trade operations and transferring funds outside the country.
