Kamchatka surgeons continued operation despite powerful earthquake

Doctors at the Kamchatka Oncological Dispensary demonstrated exceptional courage and professionalism by continuing a surgical procedure during a powerful earthquake. This information was confirmed by the Minister of Health of Kamchatka Territory, Oleg Melnikov.

The circulated video footage captured the dramatic moment: during the operation, seismic tremors begin, but the medical staff, without giving in to panic, hold the operating table and vital equipment steady while continuing to save the patient's life.

"The doctors maintained their composure and stayed with the patient until the end," Melnikov noted in his Telegram channel.
