Russian MiG fighter jet made an "unplanned landing" on a street in Yerevan

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Armenian media, an unusual incident occurred in the capital of Armenia late at night — at 02:15 Baku time.

According to available information, during the planned transportation of a MiG fighter jet, there was an unexpected failure in the mounting system — an element of the rigid coupling broke down. As a result, the combat vehicle spontaneously rolled off the transport platform.

Finding itself free, the multi-ton fighter continued moving along Arshakunyats Avenue, where it first collided with an iron pole and then crashed into a road barrier.

To ensure safety and conduct the operation to return the aircraft to the platform, traffic on the avenue was completely blocked. Notably, despite the collisions, the fighter jet itself, according to sources, did not sustain serious damage.
