Donald Trump called Harvard University a threat to democracy

US President Donald Trump sharply criticized Harvard University, calling the prestigious educational institution "antisemitic" and a "threat to democracy".

As reported by TUT.AZ, the White House head published his bold statement on his social network Truth Social.

"Harvard, like many others, is an antisemitic and far-left educational institution that admits students from all over the world who want to tear our country apart," Trump stated in his emotional message.

He emphasized that this world-renowned university represents a "threat to democracy".

It's worth noting that earlier Harvard University filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over blocking funding worth several billion dollars. In mid-April, the US president had already called Harvard a laughingstock and threatened to deprive the university of funding.
