Cannabis scandal in Haribo gummies spreads to three European countries

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Telegraaf, Haribo company urgently appealed to consumers in Belgium and Luxembourg to immediately return certain batches of gummy products and refrain from consuming them.

The investigation showed that packages from the scandalous batch, in which cannabis was previously found in the Netherlands, were also put on sale in neighboring countries.

It is noted that at the moment it is unknown how drugs ended up in kilogram packages of Haribo Happy Cola F!ZZ with production code L341-4002307906, which are set to expire in January 2026.

Previously in the Netherlands, cannabis was found in the gummy candies of the German company Haribo. The company reported that there are products in circulation, the consumption of which "may lead to health problems, such as dizziness".
