Amazon founder Jeff Bezos found himself in an amusing situation on the eve of his wedding. According to Vogue Italia's Laura Tortora, one of the world's richest men persistently asked his bride-to-be, journalist Lauren Sanchez, to break a classic wedding tradition.
The billionaire repeatedly begged his future wife to show him her wedding dress before the ceremony, but was met with a firm refusal.
"Bezos begged to see the dress. But she [Sanchez] resisted internally because she wanted to surprise him at all costs, and she succeeded," the journalist reported.
As it turned out, the object of the businessman's such close attention was an exclusive corset "fishtail" silhouette dress from the famous fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. The luxurious outfit, created by special order, was decorated with exquisite Italian lace and impressive 180 buttons, each masterfully covered with silk chiffon.
