Baku in Azerbaijan - an ideal place to live: top-4 countries ranking from a Russian travel blogger

The Most Comfortable Countries to Live in According to a Russian Travel Blogger

A popular Russian traveler and blogger published in his personal blog a ranking of countries which, in his opinion, offer the most comfortable living conditions.

1. Ecuador
Ecuador topped the ranking, where the author spent half a year of his life. He dedicated the first month to traveling around the country, after which he settled in the city of Cuenca. "The city is cultural and incredibly beautiful. Just incredibly beautiful! First, it is located in the Andes at an altitude of about 2,500 meters. Fresh air, not too hot, but also not very cold all year round," the blogger describes enthusiastically.

2. Vietnam
Vietnam took silver in the ranking of comfortable countries. The blogger highly praised the locals, calling them "wonderful people," and also noted the mild climate, high level of safety, and affordable cost of living. However, he warns his compatriots: "They have their own habits and traditions that may seem unusual to Russians."

3. Thailand
Thailand ranked third in the list of comfortable countries, although the author notes that serious reasons would be required for permanent residence here. "In general, in Asia, it seems like you'll never become a local. You'll always be an eternal tourist," the traveler shares his observations.

4. Azerbaijan (city of Baku)
Azerbaijan, especially its capital Baku, completes the top four. According to the blogger, Russians will find it easy to adapt here thanks to similar mentality and friendly atmosphere. "I would choose the Icheri Sheher district or the embankment with a view of the Caspian Sea," the author recommends.

It's worth noting that this same travel blogger previously compiled an anti-ranking of countries unsuitable for living. In particular, he admitted that he would never consider moving to Laos, characterizing this country as a "big village."
