A British EasyJet aircraft made a forced emergency landing in Glasgow, Scotland after a 41-year-old passenger began threatening to detonate a bomb on board, reports The Sun. According to the publication, the man was expressing extreme dissatisfaction with US President Donald Trump's policies.

"I wanted to send a message to Trump... he's in Scotland," the enraged passenger shouted during the flight.

According to witnesses, the troublemaker openly declared that he had an explosive device, causing panic on board. The situation was brought under control thanks to the decisive actions of three men who neutralized and restrained the aggressive passenger until landing. After touchdown, the offender was immediately handed over to police officers. No passengers or crew members were injured as a result of the incident.

Notably, at the time of the incident, US President Donald Trump was indeed on an official visit to Scotland. The American leader arrived in the country on July 25 and planned to spend five days there.
