Apple prepares for fall show: iPhone 17 presentation scheduled for early September 2025
According to reputable insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the technology giant from Cupertino will present the new iPhone 17 lineup in the first ten days of September 2025. In his Power On newsletter, the expert named September 8, 9, or 10 as the most likely dates for the long-awaited event.
Gurman notes that Apple traditionally chooses the week after Labor Day in the US for its presentations. Since in 2025 this holiday falls on September 1, the company will most likely focus on the period from September 8 to 12. Given that Apple never makes announcements on Fridays and has avoided the date of September 11 in recent years, three possible days remain. Tuesday (September 9) and Wednesday (September 10) are considered priority options.
Analysis of previous presentations supports the expert's forecast: of the ten most recent iPhone launch events, five were held on Tuesday and three on Wednesday. Monday was used for an announcement only once - in 2024, making this day the least likely candidate.
The upcoming presentation is expected to showcase the entire iPhone 17 lineup, including iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max models. In addition, updated smartwatches will be presented to the public: Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3.
As usual, official invitations for press representatives will be sent out approximately one week before the event.
