Apple is preparing a revolutionary accessory for iPhone 17 – an innovative shoulder strap for carrying the smartphone. Recent leaks have revealed unique features of the new product, reports GSMArena.
The new item will be compatible with special iPhone 17 cases equipped with built-in mounts. According to leaked information, the strap represents a true technological breakthrough: inside it is a flexible metal core, thanks to which the entire surface of the accessory becomes magnetic.
The design's special feature lies in rings with opposite polarization at the ends of the strap, creating powerful magnetic attraction for secure fastening. This engineering solution completely eliminates the need for traditional hooks or clasps, making usage maximally convenient.
According to available data, the strap will be made of braided nylon, similar to that used in popular Apple Sport Loop bands. A silicone version is also expected to be released, which will provide softer tactile sensations and increased flexibility. The color range of accessories will harmonize with the palette of iPhone 17 cases.
Production of the innovative strap, according to sources, has already been launched, indicating the imminent appearance of the new product on the market. Presumably, the accessory will be presented next month simultaneously with the iPhone 17 lineup and branded cases at a presentation that is expected to take place on September 9.
