President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the proposal from Western partners to involve 18-year-old citizens in mobilization in exchange for tougher sanctions against Russia.
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to insider.ua, this information was confirmed by Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to the advisor, this initiative was put forward by Ukraine's Western allies.
