Turkey may become the venue for a historic meeting between Zelensky and Putin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening address, revealed possible locations for potential negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Among the venues being considered for such a significant meeting are not only Turkey, but also Persian Gulf states and European countries.
"During the week there will be contacts with Turkey, there will be contacts with Gulf countries, with European countries that could serve as platforms for talks with Russians," Zelensky said. "From our side, everything will be maximally prepared to end the war. It's important that partners confirm this."
The Ukrainian leader emphasized Kyiv's readiness to end the military conflict and active preparation for dialogue. At the same time, Zelensky particularly noted the decisive role of the international community, highlighting the position of the United States as a key factor that could exert the necessary pressure on Moscow to launch a real peace process.
