In Thailand, a woman found a container with 12 million baht in a garbage dump, shocking even the police
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Lenta.ru, an incredible incident occurred on June 5 in Nonthaburi province, Pak Kret district. A resident named Usa, returning home in the evening, noticed an almost new plastic container in the garbage room on the fourth floor of her residential complex. Thinking that the item could be useful in her household, the woman took the find. To her surprise, inside she discovered numerous bundles of thousand-baht bills (about 2,400 rubles each). The total amount was more than 29 million rubles! Shocked by the find, the Thai woman immediately called the police.
Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene found not only an impressive sum of money when examining the container, but also tax documentation, as well as an official paper mentioning the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission. All documents featured the name of a certain Tawiwat.
Investigators were able to identify the bank from which this large sum was withdrawn. It turned out that the money had been issued back in 2020. Currently, the police are actively searching for the owner of the millions and trying to solve the mystery of how such a significant amount of money could end up among garbage.
