This opinion was expressed by well-known Middle East expert Vugar Ziferoglu, analyzing the current situation in the Israeli-Iranian confrontation.
According to the specialist, intensive negotiations continue, and decisive information about a possible ceasefire will become available in the coming hours. The expert also revealed the motives behind American intervention in the conflict.
"The US struck Iran in order to demonstrate its support for Israel. Analysts believe that Washington took this step seeking to fulfill previously made commitments and remove this burden from itself," - emphasized V.Ziferoglu
