Trump expressed disappointment in Russia and Ukraine due to lack of progress in peaceful settlement

President of the United States Donald Trump does not hide his dissatisfaction with the lack of diplomatic breakthrough between Russia and Ukraine on the issue of ending the armed conflict.

During a press conference at the White House, the head of the American state frankly stated:
"I am very disappointed in Russia. But Ukraine has disappointed me too. I believe an agreement could have been reached. It is extremely important to end the bloodshed."

Trump cited shocking statistics: weekly, the conflict claims the lives of five to six thousand people from both sides. The President noted that the majority of those killed are military personnel, however, there are many civilian casualties as well, especially as a result of missile strikes.

"Imagine what it's like to live in a house, knowing that a missile could hit it in the evening. It's terrible. Living in such conditions is a real ordeal," - emphasized the American leader, describing the tragic realities for civilians in the conflict zone.
