Trump discusses with European partners the possibility of involving American PMCs in Ukraine as part of a peace initiative
According to the reputable British publication Telegraph, citing informed sources, US President Donald Trump is actively consulting with European allies about the prospects of deploying American private military companies on Ukrainian territory. This initiative is being considered as part of a comprehensive long-term plan for peaceful settlement and strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
"American private military companies could be deployed in Ukraine as part of a long-term peace plan. Donald Trump is negotiating with European allies to allow armed contractors to help build fortifications to protect American interests in the country," the British publication notes.
According to the Telegraph, it is assumed that private military companies could take on a number of important functions: participation in the restoration of Ukraine's defensive lines, creation of new military facilities, and ensuring the security of American enterprises on Ukrainian territory. This decision is being considered in Washington as an alternative option after Trump allegedly promised not to send regular US troops to Ukraine.
