Trump urged Ukraine to immediately sign an agreement with the US on rare earth resources

As reported by TUT.AZ, US President Donald Trump made an urgent appeal to the Ukrainian side to finalize an important deal.

"Ukraine under the leadership of [President Volodymyr] Zelensky has not signed the final documents on a very important deal on rare earth resources with the US. Delay of at least three weeks. I hope it will be signed immediately," the American leader stated on his social network Truth Social.

Trump also noted positive dynamics in the development of a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

"Success is not far off," emphasized the US President.

Negotiations between Ukraine and the United States on the mineral resources agreement have been ongoing since February of this year. The latest version of the document was agreed upon on April 23 during trilateral negotiations involving representatives from Ukraine, the US, and Europe. Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the document would be fully ready by April 26.
