Russian troops established control over three settlements during the special operation

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported new territorial gains in the special military operation zone.

According to the military department, over the past day, units of the "North," "South," and "East" troop groupings took control of the settlement of Loknya in the Sumy region, as well as Stupochki and Otradnoye in the Donetsk region.

"Strikes were delivered against a separate special operations forces center, the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine - ed.) aviation center, ammunition depots, as well as temporary deployment points of AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine - ed.) units and foreign mercenaries in 153 areas," the department's summary stated.
