Car seller to "Crocus" terrorists: "I was deceived, I didn't know about the terrorist attack"
As reported by TUT.AZ, law enforcement agencies revealed to TASS the details of the testimony of Dilovar Islomov, who sold the Renault Symbol car to the participants of the bloody attack on the concert hall.
"According to D.I. Islomov's testimony, on March 22, 2024, acquaintances began sending messages about a terrorist attack in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall concert venue, including photos and videos in which he recognized his Renault Symbol car, which he had sold to D. Mirzoev shortly before the incident. As reported in the media, this was the car used by the terrorists. After this, he and his brother decided to go to the police department and report it. Fariduni and Mirzoev told him that they planned to use the car purchased from him for courier delivery. They did not tell him anything about the car being used to commit a terrorist attack, he knew nothing about it, otherwise he would not have sold them the car," said the agency's source.
It turned out that Islomov purchased the car in 2023 from a reseller for taxi work. A year later, facing financial difficulties, he decided to sell the vehicle. On the recommendation of his brother's wife, Islomov sold the Renault Symbol to Dalerjon Mirzoev for 270 thousand rubles.
"According to Islomov, after the sale, the car was still listed in the traffic police databases as belonging to him, as Islomov did not deregister it. Moreover, on the day of the terrorist attack, Mirzoev's accomplice Shamsidin Fariduni called Islomov and demanded that he immediately deregister the car, but at that moment it was impossible to do so as it was already too late," the TASS source said.
