The rules for obtaining a visa to Germany have changed.
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to TUT.AZ, important changes to the procedure for appealing German visa rejections came into force on July 1. Now applicants are deprived of the opportunity to submit a remonstration (letter of protest), which was a common practice previously.
This means that in case of a Schengen or national visa rejection, it will no longer be possible to contact the embassy to change the decision.
The only option is to file a lawsuit with the Berlin Administrative Court or to reapply for a visa with new documents.
It should be noted that this decision applies to citizens of all countries for whom obtaining a visa to Germany is mandatory.
In this regard, it is recommended to prepare visa documents more accurately and carefully, assess possible risks in advance, and, if necessary, obtain legal advice.
