Strategic negotiations took place in the Kremlin: Putin received the Iranian Foreign Minister and condemned aggression against Tehran
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a significant meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi in the Moscow Kremlin. During the tense negotiations, the Russian leader firmly stated that the unprovoked aggression against Iran lacks any foundation and cannot be justified in the international arena.
"Russia is making efforts to provide assistance to the Iranian people," Putin emphasized during the diplomatic conversation.
The Russian President also revealed details of his active diplomatic work, reporting on telephone negotiations with key regional leaders - the presidents of the United States, Iran and the UAE, as well as the Prime Minister of Israel.
In turn, the head of the Iranian foreign ministry Abbas Araghchi clearly outlined Tehran's position: "Tehran considers the actions of the US and Israel against Iran illegal, the Iranian side has the right to self-defense. Escalation in the Middle East is intensifying every day due to US and Israeli aggression against Iranian nuclear facilities."
