The head of state emphasized that the Russian side intends to achieve its goals by military methods if diplomatic negotiations do not bring the desired results. Putin also assessed the current state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, noting that, in his opinion, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost the ability to conduct large-scale offensive operations and are currently focused exclusively on maintaining their positions.
