Demi Moore candidly spoke about the struggle with the illness of her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who suffers from frontotemporal dementia. This was reported by The Independent.
"It's incredibly difficult! It just breaks your heart to see such changes in a person who has always been full of life energy, strength, and determination," shared the famous actress.
According to Moore, she makes every effort to treat the changes in Willis's condition with special sensitivity and understanding. The actress emphasizes the importance of accepting people in their current state, not comparing them with how they were before.
"Don't expect people to remain the same or meet your expectations. In this acceptance, I find amazing tenderness and a manifestation of true love," noted Moore.
The star also expressed sincere sympathy for Bruce Willis's current wife, model Emma Heming, admiring how courageously she is handling the difficult situation.
"She didn't have a prepared instruction manual on how to act in such a situation. Emma has shouldered an enormous burden, and I really think she is handling it amazingly," emphasized the star of "Substance."
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have three children together - daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout. The famous artists lived in marriage for almost 13 years, from 1987 to 2000. After the divorce, in 2009, Bruce Willis tied his life with model Emma Heming, who is 23 years younger than him. Two daughters were born in this marriage: Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn.
