Mayra Rosales - one of the heaviest women on the planet, weighing almost 500 kg, has passed away. The heroine of Andrey Malakhov's program, who amazed the TV host with her extraordinary life story, died at the age of 43, reports "StarHit".

For many years, Rosales primarily consumed sweets and fast food, which she became addicted to thanks to her husband. The woman didn't see a problem with her lifestyle even when she completely lost mobility due to her colossal weight. The turning point came when her sister brutally beat her child in front of her, and Mayra couldn't get up to stop the violence. Subsequently, the boy died, and his mother was sent to prison.

The need to take custody of her orphaned nephews forced Rosales to resort to radical measures. A crane was required to transport the woman to the hospital. Under medical supervision, she managed to lose more than 400 kg. Doctors performed stomach reduction surgery and liposuction. The American woman shared her incredible transformation on Andrey Malakhov's show.

The years spent at an extreme weight did not pass without consequences for Mayra's health. She developed serious illnesses, and in 2024 she died at the age of 43. It is known that some time after her successful weight loss, the woman returned to her previous eating habits and regained about 200 kg.
