Elon Musk tried to interfere with OpenAI's deal with UAE for building a large data center in Abu Dhabi, reports The Wall Street Journal.
According to the publication, OpenAI, the creator of the popular ChatGPT, led a group of American technology companies that recently received a contract to develop one of the world's largest data processing centers using artificial intelligence.
As sources from WSJ claim, behind the scenes, the American billionaire was actively attempting to block the agreement if it did not include his own company xAI. During a phone call with representatives of the Emirati company G42, Musk allegedly claimed that US President Donald Trump would not give the green light to the deal without his startup's participation.
