Iran declares readiness for nuclear agreement, but with conditions

As reported by TUT.AZ, the head of the Iranian foreign ministry Abbas Aragchi made an important statement at a meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Islamic Republic.

The minister clearly outlined Tehran's position: the republic will not accept conditions that limit its legitimate right to develop peaceful nuclear energy.

"We are ready for any agreement aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. But if the purpose of the agreement is to deprive Iran of its legitimate rights to peaceful nuclear energy, then naturally, we are not ready for such an agreement," Aragchi emphasized.

According to the Foreign Minister, Israel's recent attack is an attempt to disrupt Iranian-American negotiations on the nuclear program. The diplomat expressed regret over Washington's support for this attack.

"Over the past two days, we have received assurances from the US through various channels, claiming that they did not participate and will not participate in this attack. As I have already said, we do not believe these statements, as the evidence we have indicates otherwise," said Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi.

The minister also revealed that Iran had planned to present its plan for a possible nuclear deal agreement to the American side at the sixth round of negotiations. However, according to Aragchi, Israel's attacks during the negotiation process indicate opposition to any diplomatic initiatives.
