In Italy, rescuers found feral Mowgli children on an abandoned farm

Shocking discovery in Italy: children found living in complete isolation from society

As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Mirror, a brother and sister aged six and nine were found in the outskirts of Turin who had virtually no contact with the outside world. The children communicated in their own "primitive" language and were not registered in any educational or medical institutions. Law enforcement officers discovered them on a farm during a routine inspection of the area due to flood threats. The minors appeared unkempt and were wearing diapers. By decision of the juvenile court, the children were removed from the family.

The children's father, 54-year-old Federico, claims that he meets with them twice a week after being deprived of parental rights and is making every effort to regain custody. The man, who introduced himself as a sculptor from the Netherlands, said that he purchased the farm three years ago for 120 thousand euros. According to his statement, the children received home education, studied English and Italian languages via the internet, and he explained the lack of official registration in Italy by his wife's illness and lack of time.
