In Dagestan, a groom poisoned his bride with snus at their wedding

A wedding for 700 guests in Makhachkala was disrupted due to an unusual incident with the bride. The celebration had to be urgently postponed after the girl fell ill right before the ceremony. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash, citing an informed source.

As it turned out, in an attempt to help the bride cope with pre-wedding anxiety, the groom offered her snus (a tobacco product). The experiment ended badly — the girl required urgent medical attention.

"The bride's condition stabilized after first aid was provided. The decision to postpone the event was made by the organizers," the source clarifies.
