Dangerous bacteria attacking the human nervous system discovered in popular "Myasnitsky Ryad" kupaty (meat sausages). According to the Telegram channel Mash, the identified microorganism can cause severe diseases, including meningitis and encephalitis, and in some cases lead to death.
A routine inspection of meat semi-finished products revealed violations from seven manufacturers. In "Ostankino" products, experts found sulfanilamide - an antimicrobial substance that, when consumed in significant quantities, can cause serious side effects: from allergic reactions and nausea to neuritis and kidney failure.
Sausages and kupaty under the brands "Auchan," "Restoria," "Slovo myasnika," "Myasnitsky Ryad," and "Blizhnie Gorki" contained carrageenan not declared in the ingredients. This substance, when consumed in large doses, can cause ulcerative lesions, intestinal inflammation, destruction of the mucous membrane, and disruption of sugar metabolism in the body.
After identifying the violations, Roskachestvo initiated an unscheduled inspection of "Myasnitsky Ryad." Company representatives stated their readiness to promptly eliminate the detected violations and have already informed the production facility about the identified problem.
The "Ostankino" company received warnings and fines. Additionally, the declaration of conformity for the meat processing plant's production was suspended. Other manufacturers promised to carefully study the inspection results, contact suppliers, and conduct necessary additional research.
In its official Telegram channel, Roskachestvo confirmed the completion of a large-scale study of 19 popular brands of meat semi-finished products for grilling, including 11 brands of kupaty and 8 brands of sausages. The products were tested for 162 indicators of quality, safety, and labeling accuracy, as well as organoleptic properties. "Pathogenic bacteria causing listeriosis were found in one sample. All semi-finished products were tested for the presence of coliform bacteria and total microbial count, with no violations detected for these indicators. For the first time in a long while, antibiotics were detected," the agency reported.
