Court in Yekaterinburg detained Mazahir Safarov

The Leninsky Court of Yekaterinburg has chosen detention as a preventive measure for Mazahir Safarov.

As it became known, our compatriot has been sent to a pre-trial detention center for 22 days by court decision.

During the court hearing, the names of Azerbaijanis whose cases are being considered today in Yekaterinburg were announced: Akif Mohbaly oglu, Ayaz Mohbaly oglu, Mazahir Mohbaly oglu, and Bakir Mehdi oglu Safarov.

Notably, brothers Vugar and Muhammad Safarov were released immediately after the mass detentions. At the same time, Kyamal Safarov is currently in the intensive care unit.

Ahliman Ganjiyev will also appear before the court. After operational measures were conducted, he was taken to a medical facility, but doctors gave permission for his presence in the courtroom. Another defendant in the case - Aziz Abasov - is currently undergoing treatment at Hospital No. 36.
