Baza Editor-in-Chief Gleb Trifonov detained until September 20 on bribery charges
As reported by "RIA Novosti" correspondent from the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow, the editor-in-chief of Baza publication Gleb Trifonov has been placed under arrest until September 20 in a bribery case.
The court made the decision to detain the journalist, reasoning that the accused may leave the territory of Russia, interfere with investigative actions, or destroy evidence in the case.
According to available information, the key evidence in the investigation materials is a photograph of Trifonov taken at an ATM in 2023 at the moment of depositing cash. However, the investigation does not disclose to whom these funds were subsequently transferred.
