Elite IRGC Division Commander Dies After Israeli Airstrike on Iran
Colonel Javad Narenji, a high-ranking commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), died from wounds received as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory, reports "Free Iran".
Narenji, who led the prestigious third division of the IRGC Ground Forces named "Hamze Seyed ash-Shuhada," was severely wounded during a 12-day military operation when Israeli air forces attacked IRGC positions in West Azerbaijan province. After the strikes, the commander spent 29 days in the hospital, where doctors fought for his life, but they were unable to save the military leader.
