Unique Museum of Legendary Bruce Lee Ceases Operations in Hong Kong
As reported by TUT.AZ, the official fan club of the famous martial arts master announced the closure of the museum on their Facebook page.
The museum's rich collection included about 2 thousand unique exhibits - sculptures, magazines and rare video materials related to the life and work of the legendary actor.
"Financial difficulties forced us to reconsider how to most effectively use our resources to keep the flame of Bruce Lee's spirit alive," explained museum representatives.
The institution's revenues began to decline rapidly during the coronavirus pandemic. The question of a possible resumption of the museum's operations in the future remains open.
It is worth noting that the official fan club was created by the family of the legendary martial arts master.
Bruce Lee, who became famous thanks to such cult films as "Fist of Fury" and "Way of the Dragon," passed away in July 1973 at the age of just 32. The traveling exhibition dedicated to his legacy first opened in Hong Kong in 2000, and then, after a long break, reopened its doors to visitors in 2019.
