Another earthquake occurred in the Sea of Marmara

A new earthquake shook the Sea of Marmara: tremors with a magnitude of 4.1 were recorded off the coast of Büyükçekmece.

As reported by TUT.AZ, the information about the underground tremors was confirmed by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority under the government of Turkey (AFAD).

It is noted that the earthquake's epicenter was at a depth of 7 km.

Recall that on April 23, Istanbul experienced a series of powerful earthquakes, the strongest of which reached a magnitude of 6.2. The natural disaster led to injuries of more than 150 people and the complete collapse of one three-story building. After the main shock, seismologists recorded at least 50 aftershocks.
