Massive outage: Instagram "down" in several countries around the world
The popular social network Instagram has faced serious technical issues affecting users in several countries at once. This is evidenced by data from the Downdetector website.
The wave of outages hit the platform at approximately 20:47 Baku time. By 21:02, the number of registered complaints from the US alone reached an impressive 828 reports. According to statistics, 56% of users encountered problems with the application, 24% were unable to access their accounts, and 20% complained about incorrect functioning of the web version of the service.
The geography of the technical failure was quite extensive. In addition to the United States, significant disruptions in Instagram's operation were recorded in the United Kingdom, Germany and France.
