Tiger attacked a tourist from India during an attempt to take a selfie in a Thai zoo
As reported by TUT.AZ with reference to Lenta.ru, the shocking incident occurred in the popular zoo and tiger nursery Tiger Kingdom in Phuket. The viral video captures the moment when a large predator suddenly lunges at a man who decided to sit next to the animal for an impressive selfie. Despite the presence of a trainer who tried to restrain the tiger with a special stick, the attack could not be avoided. Fortunately, the tourist from India escaped with only minor injuries.
The video of the incident instantly went viral on social media, garnering more than 1.4 million views and sparking heated debates about the problem of animal cruelty. Many internet users point to the careless behavior of the tourist himself as the cause of the incident. In their opinion, the man provoked the predator's aggression when he began to stroke it in particularly sensitive areas, including the lower back near the tail, which led to the lightning-fast attack.
