Tragedy on live stream: popular blogger shot during broadcast in Mexico

A shocking incident occurred in the Mexican city of Zapopan, where 23-year-old beauty blogger Valeria Marquez was coldly murdered right during a live broadcast for her subscribers. The young woman, who had won the hearts of her internet audience thanks to masterful makeup tutorials, became a victim of an armed attack at the beauty salon where she worked.

According to Haber Global, at the beginning of her stream, Valeria shared an unusual story with viewers — an unknown person had tried to leave an expensive gift for her in her absence. The girl noted that she was not going to wait for this mysterious person. These words proved to be fatal. Soon after, an armed attacker burst into the premises and opened fire on the blogger. Witnesses report that moments before the tragedy, a warning about someone approaching the building could be heard on the broadcast. Within seconds, shots rang out. Surprisingly, the camera continued to work even after the attack, until someone interrupted the broadcast. Unfortunately, Valeria died at the scene.

Law enforcement agencies in the state of Jalisco immediately began investigating this high-profile crime. At the time of the tragic incident, Marquez's social media audience was about 200 thousand subscribers. The circumstances of the murder are still being investigated, but investigators are considering various versions, including possible personal motives for the crime.
